  1. I've struggled for years to use this feature of word and have never been able to figure out how to work with the marking tool. It's not intuitive. Thank you for shedding the light in this 3 min. tutorial. I wish I had googled sooner! Life saver!!

  2. can you tell me how to save the croped picture so am able to print it on clothes without a background? Cause now it seems that i still get the background when i save the cropped picture…

  3. Hey, I have Microsoft 2010, but it's like everything except remove background buttons are there, is there a specific update?

  4. Nearly every graphic designer has used Photoshop tutorials to bolster their design skills; in fact, there's perhaps no better way to become a better graphic designer than to follow Photoshop tutorials. This is an extremely awesome tutorial. 🙂 Would you mind if I share this technique on my [www.clippingsolutions.com] Clipping Path Service Blog.

  5. I have the remove background button, but the "mark areas to keep" and other buttons don't come up when I click on it? I have 2010, any thoughts?

  6. Thank you ! great lesson, focused, to the point! I am trying to make a logo for my little feral cat org and I cant afford to hire someone…thank you so much!

  7. I don't think anyone would try to use MS Word instead of Photoshop. We're just highlighting and reviewing the features of MS Word. ^Jess

  8. audio quality is great, I can understand your voice. Quick and to the point. however, we have to remember that Word has about 1% of the power of Photoshop. Thanks

  9. The changes you make to the photo will not remain outside of Word. The best you could do is once you have edited your photo, you could take a screenshot of the image. However, the background won't be transparent, it would be white.

  10. @u2teech You can draw a rectangle, change it to any color you want, and then move it behind the picture. Or, if you want to change the color of the entire page, you can go to the Page Layout tab and click "Page Color."
