  1. ''On a really tight budget.'' What does that mean exactly. Others are better if you're willing to pay more? What other's? Another favorite expression of reviewers is ''For the price.'' Same thing, what does that mean? The higher priced equivalents are better? Why not just come out and say that?

  2. this a typical bullsh*t review…………… this is the best lens !!! … colour rendition, rendering, chromatic aberration its all 100% ,,, bonafide future proof !!

  3. What is with the I.S disappointment?? if you can't take a steady photo with a 35mm!! you have something wrong with your hands 🙂

  4. Just been out and about with this lens, its amazing!!! so sharp!! the colour! contrast!! blurred backgrounds you can get out of it!!

  5. Seems to be a cool lens but no IS and made for DSLR. But I must test it. Cool video but kill that logo animation please 😂🤪

  6. i own it. It is fantastic! super fast lense. I didn't notice any vignetting on my copy however. It had super consistent focusing. shooting at 1.4 in different ranges and angles never failed. I even did a night shoot and had accurate results! I think this crowns over the Sigma.

  7. Fraction of a price? Everything is a fraction like 99/100. Or you could mean something to the tune of 1/4 or less. But at only 1/2 the price of the EF 35mm 1.4 L II, not really a huge deal or at the inferred fraction of the price.

  8. As a Nikon shooter, I hope Tamron starts to manufacture lenses for the new Z mount soon. Will definitely switch once the next version of Z cameras are introduced.

  9. Wonder if this will be their "best" and last DSLR lens with the rise of mirrorless bodies. Nearly 1/2 the price of Canon and Nikon 35mm 1.4s. But still more expensive than the older Sigma. Pricing seems about right.
