Solution for the “This computer will soon stop receiving Google Chrome updates because Windows XP and Windows Vista will no longer be supported.” warning on Chrome.

Be careful when doing configuration changes, do this at your own risk. Disabling the infobar is not wise, since we would be missing other warnings too. The best solution is to upgrade your OS or change it.

  1. That ONLY works on Google's home page. Every other page you go to will still have that hell-cursed yellow bar across the top. Since Google controls Firefox now switching to it only means that you lose some sites as they don't respond to it. Is there any other fix that will tell Google once and for all to SHOVE that bar?

  2. Install Security extensions for chrome. and never go online without an up-to-date firewall. at least get windows 7 .

  3. sister did not have written many times I gave you the bugs as I wrote –disable-infobars did not happen what I should do ????

  4. here's the line if you too lazy to type:
    "C:Program FilesGoogleChromeApplicationchrome.exe" –disable-infobars
    you're welcome.
