  1. ISO is darker on Fuji. Well known fact also you can tell from the light on the ground she is standing in the light more on Sony. (I shoot Nikon)

  3. She was standing more onlight that was reason of clipping on her face with Sony. It's obvious with light on her leg and arm which there isn't with fuji.

  4. There is no comparison in video performance here. The Fuji is a gh5 with incredible AF and the Sony is still running 8bit 100mbs from 2012. Do not deceive people run the Fuji at its max and do some color grading on each and watch the Sony fall apart. Also you need to mention that you can’t take the Sony outside and shoot video in the summer it will overheat after 5 minutes that’s exactly what happened to me. I own both of these cameras.

  5. What iso setting did you have when doing the dynamic range tests?
Because with Fuji the best iso for increased dynamic range is at 640iso not base iso, im always shooting high contrast scenes at 640 iso which gives you 400% dynamic range as compared to base iso.

  6. In the first comparison (yellow dresses) you are comparing the two raw conversion maps, not the cameras. Raw is raw. Ask Adobe or C1 why the yellows are different.

  7. Its funny that you say that X-T3 has better Eye Focus when all the others reviews says that Sonys is much better 🙄

  8. Is it just me or in the ISO test the eye was never in focus with the X-T3 (or at least until the one at 1600 iso)?

  9. 2:44 – Did you change to a X-T30 when you did the focus test or is it a typo ?? 😉
Now looking at all the gear you used, you forget specifically to mention what lens was on the camera while doing EACH TEST.
Especially with keeping focus , a lens can break the performance of a camera.
The Fuji 18-55 is probably the best KIT lens out there so that is an advantage.
Nice video but give more info next time and try different lenses !

  10. Why is fuji always darker at the same settings…. Almost 1 stop darker at all times… It's almost like it's cheating to claim they perform better 🤔

  11. I'm curious to know what software you used for post-processing. Fuji users know that Lightroom doesn't do a great job of translating the Fuji Raw files compared to Sony, Canon or Nikon files. Capture One does a much better job with Fuji. Overall, an excellent comparison as usual!

  12. As a Sony user I would enjoy having the dials of the XT3.. I wish our full frame a7 series had that second dial like the a9.. it is truly a shame Sony didn’t use their new 26 megapixel sensor in the a6600 that they sell Fuji for their XT3. The sensor in the a6xxx series is starting to show its age. I just sent my a6600 eval loaner back in and enjoyed using it. For the photo and AF features I’d have to choose the a6600 but if you’re a heavy video person then you’d obviously want the XT3 for the 10 bit and 4K60. I use the Sony crop bodies for light video where I’m not pushing exposures and can do just fine with the 8 bit. Cheers 🥂
