  2. I remember watching the Guns n roses video on MTV (in New Zealand) and my mother was like, who the eff is that!!!??? Where's Slash????? It was a big deal to her but I was mesmerised by the Bucket 👍👍👍🤣🤣 I just thought he was totally rad and fun. He's always been No1 to me.

  3. It’s a shame the lack of buckethead support in the guitar community. Joe Satriani and Steve Pai and Paul Gilbert get all of the attention. None of their music is interesting to me at all. Buckethead’s music is creative and he’s better at the guitar than them. By far. Really far. I would like to see Joe or Steve perform Jordan.

  4. Wow this was so awesome! It’s great to see a lot of the Bots on video when I’ve only see them on fb. I’d love to be included in the part 2 vid. What a great idea NatterNet! Woooo! ☺️🎸🎶

  5. This concept is so cool! Let's play along. First time hearing Buckethead is from Tony Hawk's Underground soundtrack actually, DJ Q-Bert Inner Space Dental Commander is in it. I remember not really liking the song, but I was quite fascinated by it, it was pretty obscure in an already indie/alternative soundtrack. Then I must have heard Three Fingers in Saw 2. But the first time I actually REALLY discovered him was through Guitar Hero 2, and I'm somewhat relieved a lot of fans in this video are like me, I always felt like some youngster "less-than-legitimate" fan because of that. I remember vividly listening to Jordan's intro when you previewed the song, and didn't particularly like it. But then I played it. And when the solo hit, it hit HARD. It completely changed my point of view regarding guitar and rock music. I've always been into fusion of genres, hybrid experimental music, even today when I mainly listen to electronic music and hip-hop. There needs to be a mix of different influences and genres for me to be into it, the rest feels bland. Buckethead still is to this day one of the, if not the only "mainly-rock" artist I love from A to Z. After Jordan I discovered Night Of The Slunk, Soothsayer, Nottingham Lace, all of his greatest hits basically, and never got out of the loop. I'm french and got to go to California in 2007, and I have awesome memories of buying Buckethead CDs there, but also rubber chickens and the fake disembodied hand costume thing in San Francisco. I then went on and bought a white Les Paul, and added the elastic strap obviously. Favorite tracks are hard but I'd say Night Of The Slunk, Nottingham Lace, King James, Who Me (early version), Final Wars, Baseball Furies, Botnus and Battlefields are up there (oh and Beyond The Knowing too!). Favorite album is Monster & Robots, or Enter the chicken. I'd love to see Buckethead perform with artists like Aphex Twin, I think both would compliment each other very well and take us to some unseen territories.

  6. I purchased all the Pikes, it took me several months to go through and pick out all my favs, they are among my most valued possessions, too much great music to pick one favorite, but it changes with moods, last week it was "Look Up There" , fun to see his paintings on others walls, excellent vid, Woo !

  7. Ugh, I’m a little jealous I didn’t get the chance to be a part of this (first time NatterNet viewer) but I’m happy to see so many people who love Buckethead as much or even more than me! …even though that’s hard for me to believe xD. Will be back for pt. 2

  8. First time I heard of Buckethead: I heard Jordan for the first time in 2014 and would listen to that a bit. I then looked up some of his music and left it at that (silly me). Then this year I clicked on a video of Soothsayer live. For some reason I though I’d heard the name before (kinda like some déjà vu) and I though Buckethead was just doing a cover (silly me again). Listening to that got me hooked and now I’m still searching for cool songs by Buckethead and he has inspired my type of guitar playing too.

Favourite Song: Sail in Soothsayer, it’s so emotional that you can hear him weeping through the notes.

Favourite non-pike album: Why do you do this! Probably Electric Tears, although Electric Sea and Population Override are up there too.

Favourite Pike album: I haven’t listened to much, but so far it’s Bozo in the Labyrinth. There’s some really catchy songs in their like ‘Branch’. ‘Mirrors of the Sleeping Mind’ also blows me away every time.

    Thanks Natternet. Woo!

  9. Holy schnikies, it's so crazy to finally hear what most of these bots sound like in real life. I mostly just imagined how they sound as I would read their Instagram and FB comments. Bucketb0t was the most surprising! Such a deep voice! Lololololol

  10. Whitewash/ I Love his Songs to his Parents! For Mom, Watching Boats with my Dad/ I
Love My Parents! No question he can play anything, but when he reaches down into his Soul, we see how truly amazing he is!!! Thnx, Buckethead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’ CJ

  11. Really Cool Video! The Fan’s Explaining why we all Love Buckethead! Please could you do more of these videos of what makes us Love to listen to his Genius! Thnx, CJ

  12. I was obsessed with mortal Kombat, and when the movie came out I immediately went out and bought the cd and tape (yeah I’m old).. and I remember playing the tape front to back over and over…. loved it. It wasn’t until later that I discovered Primus and on the video, Videoplasty.. I first saw this guy in an orange jumpsuit, shredding and nun chucking…. I’ve always been into guitar and horror villains and watching this guy was mesmerizing. I was hooked. I had to get my hands on anything Buckethead related. As to this day, I can safely say I don’t have a favorite song… I wouldn’t be able to choose. Buckethead is the type of artist with so much material, that it depends on what mood I’m in VS. “a favorite song”.

  13. Well I've got to relate to Douglas on this one my first experience with buckethead was through Primus as well never looked back since keep rocking. woo✌

  14. 1st time i ever heard Buckethead was on New Years 2016 when my dad played Jump Man then he played the whole album and ive been hooked since

  15. It was so exciting to see so many familiar faces (and finally hear them speak)! Loved being a part of this. Thank you thank you thank you!
